A group of activists would stage a dharna in front of Secretariat (Statue)to protect the Right to Information (RTI) Act on March 4. To be staged from morning 10.30 to noon, the dharna will be inaugurated by noted senior journalist BRP Bhaskar.
The activists who stage dharna are from the organisations namely, Human Rights Defence Forum in Kochi, Bharana Parishkara Vedi in Thiruvananthapuram and Human Rights Initiative in Thalassery. Save RTI Bloggers Group (not yet formed) also participating on this Dharna. Interested Bloggers are requested to participate this event.
