Last day a 5 year girl in our Powerhouse premises was brutally raped by her neighbour. She is the grand daughter of an old man from Nepal who has been serving as a Security Asistant in KSEB
His daughter, ( the victim child's mother) was separated and now living with
him . She is a woman with a slight mental retardation. The most horrifying thing in this story is that The Man who raped the child , Mr. Shaji Kadalikkadan is one of the ward Counselors of Arakkulam Panchayath and is a local leader of The Congres party. He is now in some unknown hideout. He also have wife and a daughter of the same age. Often the victim child was caressed by this man and no one suspected him. It is suspected that the local congress leadership is trying to protect the culprit
